Patrick Jarrett was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario, Canada where he played minor hockey until being drafted in the year 2000, 1st overall to the Mississauga Ice Dogs of the OHL. Jarrett played 5 seasons in the OHL between the Ice Dogs and the Owen Sound Attack.  In 2002, Patrick was drafted to the Nashville Predators in the 5th round.  In 2005 Jarret turned pro, playing for the Eisbaren Berlin in the DEL, winning a championship in his first season.  Over the course of a 13year professional career Patrick was honored to wear the "C" 7 of those years and an "A" 2 other years.   He played in a number of different leagues like the AHL, ECHL, DEL, DEL 2, EBEL, Denmark, and also played in 2 Spengler Cups. 

In his final two seasons he was Player/Asst. coach in Frankfurt where captured another championship in 2017.  That led to a career in coaching and eventually getting hired by Hamilton of the OHL as an Asst./Video coach where he quickly found his way onto the bench as an Asst. Coach within a year.  Jarret spent this past season spent in Hamilton as an assistant coach where he learned under a highly experienced and respected staff.
